Welcome to the Butte College Distance Learning Committee!

The Butte College Distance Learning Committee (DLC) is a standing committee of the Butte College Academic Senate.

Please use the links on the left to access agendas and minutes, to see the step-by-step process of developing an online or hybrid course and getting it approved, and to download important guidelines and other documents.

Purpose

Though more information is given in the DLC Bylaws the purpose of the DLC is to

  • establish the technical training necessary for instructors who want to teach distance learning courses
  • establish the diagnostic standards for the approval of distance learning courses
