Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The District offers two Employee Assistance Programs provided by UNUM, the district's short-term/long-term disability provider, as well as Anthem Blue Cross. All regular (permanent) classified and academic employees and dependents (IRS dependent children to age 26) are eligible for both programs.  All employees are eligible for the Anthem Blue Cross Program.  Eligibility is the first day of the month following the employee's date of hire.

In addition to being a valuable resource to employees, the EAP has proven to be a useful source of information for managers and supervisors. The EAP will provide guidance in resolving difficult employee issues and interpersonal relationship problems amongst staff.
